Prepped at Eisenhower High School (Kan.) for head coach Brandon Sommer … lettered and started all four years … served as team captain for one year … earned all-conference accolades three times (first team twice, second team once) … as a senior, also garnered second team all-state recognition … helped the Tigers to two league championships and a regional title … ran cross country for three years … as a freshman, collected first team all-conference honors and was a cross country state medalist (14th place) … member of National Honor Society.
