Behind CIT MVP Kendal Brigham, the Bulldogs reigned supreme at the Concordia Invitational Tournament once again. CUNE improved to 17-2 overall while routing Concordia Wisconsin, 78-48, in Mequon on Saturday (Jan. 27).

The Bulldogs weathered a flurry of Cardinal 3-pointers and rallied back from a 16-point deficit to defeat Concordia Ann Arbor, 73-64, on day one of CIT. Five CUNE players reached double figures in scoring as the CIT win streak continued.

The eighth-ranked Bulldogs overcame a poor shooting performance while forcing 32 turnovers in a 75-53 home win over Mount Marty on Jan. 24. Sadie Powell paced Concordia with 15 points and six steals.
The 71st Concordia Invitational Tournament will play out Jan. 26-27 in Mequon, home to Concordia University Wisconsin. Prior to the grand weekend event, the Bulldog basketball teams will host Mount Marty on Wednesday.

On a day when the program honored its 2018-19 national championship team, the eighth-ranked Bulldogs paid tribute by playing suffocating defense. Concordia stifled Briar Cliff, 68-58, in a matchup of top 10 teams.

Another monster game from Kendal Brigham and a focused fourth-quarter defensive performance allowed No. 8 Concordia to fight off Hastings, 70-57, on the road on Wednesday (Jan. 17). The Bulldogs pushed their win streak to six.

Kendal Brigham produced a career high 24 points on the strength of 5-for-7 3-point shooting in the win over Doane and was named the GPAC Player of the Week. She's averaging 10.2 points per game on the season.

After a snowstorm froze sports contests throughout the Midwest this past weekend, Concordia is set to make a short trek, facing Hastings on Wednesday (Jan. 17). After, the Bulldogs will rematch against Briar Cliff on Saturday.

Concordia's home men’s and women’s basketball scheduled for Saturday (Jan. 13) versus Dordt has been postponed. The makeup date will be February 5, 2024.
It’s a Tuesday evening in the middle of July and two brothers have reunited over a familiar round, orange and leather-coated object that has been prevalent in their lives since birth.
