The Thanksgiving week schedule is stuffed with three games for the 14th-ranked Concordia women's basketball team. Up next is a short trip to Doane for the Bulldogs, who are undefeated in GPAC play.

A big second-half run allowed 14th-ranked Concordia to put away visiting Mount Marty on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs forced 25 turnovers and won, 75-65, to improve to 3-0 in league play.

Concordia women's basketball sports a home record of 72-9 since the start of the 2011-12 season. Dominant over their last five games, Dani Andersen and the Bulldogs are rolling into Saturday's action.

Dani Andersen returned to her former school and helped lead a blowout win over Midland on Wednesday night. No. 14 Concordia again showcased its depth in an 89-50 road victory.

All five starters scored in double figures and the 14th-ranked Bulldogs did something that's now happened just three times in the GPAC era: win in Orange City. Concordia defeated Northwestern, 88-81.

Though it struggled at times offensively, the 14th-ranked Bulldogs used their zone defense to put the squeeze on Oklahoma Wesleyan. Concordia topped the Eagles, 76-58, on day two of the Cattle Classic.

For the first time this season, the 14th-ranked Bulldogs showed off their embarrassment of riches in front of the home fans. Concordia nailed 15 treys while blowing away visiting Friends, 95-59, on Friday.

Head coach Drew Olson's 14th-ranked Bulldogs will make their home debut this weekend at the 17th annual Cattle Classic. Concordia will take on Friends University and Oklahoma Wesleyan University.

Concordia's pressure defense overwhelmed host Johnson & Wales University on Saturday evening and the Bulldogs picked up their first win of the 2016-17 season. Dani Andersen and Aubri Bro both scored 15 points.

Turnovers plagued 14th-ranked Concordia in a big season-opening test against the defending national champs. No. 1 Marian took advantage and won, 72-64, in Denver on Friday (Oct. 28).
