The league office announced on Tuesday (Feb. 10) the Hauff Mid-America Sports GPAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week. Bree Bunting was tabbed for the defensive award.
The Bulldogs roll into the next two contests on a three-game win streak traveling for both bouts this week. Concordia University, Nebraska will hit the road to Omaha and Sioux City to compete against the College of Saint Mary and Briar Cliff.
The Bulldogs came down on Morningside with a 33-point third quarter fueled by 14 steals that eventually led to an 84-62 route of the visitors on Saturday. CUNE shot 59.1 percent in the stanza and outran the Mustangs to take the 22-point victory.
