Behind a starring performance from Ashley Keck, the fourth-ranked Bulldogs came up clutch while defeating Hastings, 25-13, 26-24, 26-24, on Saturday (Sept. 21). Concordia moved to 4-0 in GPAC play.
A strong blocking week in the middle resulted in Gabi Nordaker being named the GPAC Defensive Player of the Week. Nordaker eclipsed 500 career blocks as the Bulldogs went 2-0 on the week.
A midweek break greets the third-ranked Bulldogs, now 3-0 in GPAC play. Concordia is prepping for another in-state opponent with Hastings set to visit Friedrich Arena on Saturday.
It took a team effort to turn No. 20 Midland away in four sets on Saturday (Sept. 14). Three Bulldogs tallied exactly 11 kills as the Bulldogs moved to 10-1 overall and stayed undefeated within the GPAC (3-0).
In its first home appearance in three-and-a-half weeks, the third-ranked Concordia University Volleyball team responded to the challenge from CSM. The Bulldogs took a four-set decision as Gabi Nordaker reached a career milestone.
In making a return to Friedrich Arena, the third-ranked Bulldogs will host College of Saint Mary and No. 20 Midland as GPAC play heats up. Concordia moved to 8-1 with last week's win at Mount Marty.
Four Bulldogs collected at least 10 kills as part of a four-set GPAC road win at Mount Marty on Sept. 4. Concordia outhit the Lancers, 300 to .145, and moved to 8-1 (1-0 GPAC).
A challenging run through nonconference play has concluded for the fourth-ranked Bulldogs, who will be headed to Mount Marty for the opening of GPAC play. Concordia stands at 7-1 with three wins over top 10 opponents.
This looked more like Bulldog Volleyball. Fourth-ranked Concordia bounced back on Aug. 31 with wins over No. 5 Viterbo and Oklahoma Panhandle State while polishing off the CSM Labor Day Classic.
Concordia never found any traction while up against 14th-ranked Bellevue on Friday (Aug. 30) and slipped up for the first time in 2024. The Bruins outhit the Bulldogs, .211 to .083, in Omaha.
