2019 Concordia University Volleyball Camps

Join head coach, Ben Boldt, and his staff and players this summer for the Concordia Volleyball Summer Camp series.  At Concordia Volleyball camps, you’ll experience high level training in individual fundamentals and team concepts while having fun playing the sport we all love.

July 8 - Setter/Hitter Position Camp

This position camp offers the opportunity for setters and hitters to work on the fundamentals of their respective position.  Campers will work on their position for the duration of camp, and will also have the opportunity to set and hit off of each other in combination drills. 

Check-in: 8:30am-9:00am
Camp Duration:  9am-4pm  
Camp Fee:  $75  (includes t-shirt & lunch at the Concordia University Dining Hall)
Open to campers going into 5th- 12th grades.

July 9 - Serve/Pass Camp

Serving and Passing are two of the most important skills in our game.  If you and your team can control the serve/pass game during the course of a match, your chances of winning the match goes up.  This camp will offer campers the opportunity to work on the fundamentals of each skill and play in competitive serve/pass combination drills. 

Check-in: 8:30am-9:00am
Camp Duration:  9am-4pm  
Camp Fee:  $75  (includes t-shirt & Lunch at the Concordia University Dining Hall)
Open to campers going into 5th- 12th grades. 

July 15-17 - Individual All-Skills Camp

Our Individual Camp is an opportunity for campers to train all fundamentals and team concepts over a 3 day camp experience.   Campers will enjoy learning new techniques and key words for each skill and playing in combination drills and matches throughout camp.  The overnight option for this camp also provides a unique experience to stay in a college dorm and eat in our cafeteria under the supervision of our camp staff.  Each evening the staff provides a fun activity for our campers to enjoy after a big day of training. 

Check-in:  12:15-1:15pm Resident Campers, 1:00-1:30pm  Commuter Campers
(Lunch on own prior to check-in/camp)
Camp Duration:  Monday- 1:30-9pm, Tuesday – 9am-9:00pm, Wednesday – 9am-4pm
Camp Fee:  $235 Resident (includes 2 nights in dorm, all meals starting with dinner on Monday, and t-shirt)
                    $185 Commuter (includes t-shirt, dinner on Mon., lunch/dinner on Tues., and lunch on Wed.)
Open to campers going into 6-12 grades.

July 15-17 - Jr Dogs Individual Camp

This camp will focus on skill development and the FUNdamentals of volleyball. These skills will be incorporated into mini games, which are a fun style of learning. Quality teaching will be paired with energy and excitement from the Bulldogs.

Camp Duration:  9am-11am Daily
Camp Fee:  $60 (includes t-shirt)
Open to campers going into 2-5 grades. 

July 10-11 - Team Residential Camp

Our Team Residential Camp is an opportunity for teams to get the full Bulldog training experience.  This two day, overnight camp will include team training sessions, position training, wash drills, and team building activities.  This is a “must – do” camp for all teams, as it will allow teams to connect and grow both on and off the court in preparation for your high schools seasons.  Teams that participate in this camp receive a complimentary spot in our Team Camp Play Day on July 12th

Check-In on Wednesday:  10:30am-11:30am  (lunch on your own after check-in)
Camp Duration:  Wednesday 1-4pm and 6-9pm, Thursday 9-12pm and 1:30-4:30pm
**Thursday evening is designated for each team to do their own team activity, i.e go out to eat,   entertainment in Lincoln, go to a movie, etc.  High school coaches will coordinate this for their own team.
Camp Fee:  $150 per person (min of 10 players per team)  1st coach is free, additional coaches are $50
(includes a t-shirt, two night dorm stay, dinner on Wednesday, and breakfast/lunch on Thursday)

This camp will be limited to the first 8 teams who sign up!

July 12 - Team Camp Play Day

Our Team Camp Play Day is an opportunity for high school teams to get a full day of matches against other teams in the state and region.  Bulldog players will officiate matches, and the Concordia coaching staff will be available for consult in regards to your team’s systems, line ups, etc.   Our team camp also features a hospitality room for coaches that includes food, snacks, and beverages throughout the duration of camp.

Check-in:  8:15am-9:00am
Camp Duration:  9am until conclusion of all matches. 
Camp Fee:  $250 per team  **$100 dollar deposit due 30 days within acceptance into camp
Pizza and bottle water will be provided for all teams during our lunch break.  
Open to all JV and Varsity high school teams.

Satellite Camps!

During the month of June or July, our staff and Bulldog players can come to you!  We offer 1 or 2 day camps at your school, designed specifically for your team!  To reserve dates for a satellite camp, email camp director, Angie Boldt, at angie.boldt@cune.edu.

**2019 Satellite Camps are sold out.  Please email Angie Boldt to put your school on the list for summer of 2020. 

Miscelaneous Camp Info: 

All campers need to bring a completed medical release to check-in for each camp.  The medical release document can be found in the link at the top of this webpage, or in your confirmation email.

All camp registrations completed prior to June 17th will receive their requested t-shirt size at check-in.  All registrations completed after June 17th will receive a t-shirt size on a first come, first serve basis.

All cancellations will incur a $10 cancellation fee.

Check-in for each camp are located inside the north doors of Walz Arena.

Attire:  T-shirt, shorts, socks, tennis shoes.  Kneepads are not required, but are encouraged.

If you have any dietary needs during camp, please email Angie Boldt in advance and we will coordinate with our food services.

Dorms include a bed, desk and chair in each room and are air conditioned.  Please provide bedding, pillow, and toiletries.   Fridges and coolers are not allowed.
