The annual Concordia Outdoor Invite was highlighted by nine 'A' standard qualifying marks from female field event athletes over the course of the two-day meet. The meet featured competitors from eight institutions.
The first home meet of the 2019 season for Concordia track and field will run off this Friday and Saturday in and around Bulldog Stadium. The bulk of the meet will take place on Saturday.
After landing the top mark among NAIA competitors in the shot put, senior Samantha Liermann has been named the GPAC Women's Field Athlete of the Week. She is a two-time national champion.
