On day one of the 2025 season, Concordia Softball earned a 5-0 win over Mayville State behind the pitching of Kaylei Denison. The Bulldogs then fell by a 4-3 score to NCAA DII Sioux Falls.

No matter the weather, the Bulldogs will open the 2025 season this weekend (Feb. 1-2) with four games at the ASB Sports Complex in Sioux Center. The opponents will be Mayville State, Sioux Falls and Culver-Stockton.

After Concordia University, Nebraska shot up the standings last year, the 2025 GPAC Softball Preseason Coaches’ Poll showed Head Coach Brock Culler’s squad trending upward.
It’s been a process, but the transformation of Concordia Softball under Head Coach Brock Culler has entered another phase. Coming off a third-place GPAC finish, the Bulldogs believe they are primed for more in 2025.
As Head Coach Brock Culler says, "The feel is there. It's real." Concordia Softball carried momentum from its 2024 late season surge into fall ball. The roster includes a nice mix of veterans (nine seniors) and newcomers (17).

The Concordia Softball program has announced a 2025 varsity schedule complete with 49 regular season games. The journey will include trips to Kansas City and Tucson in nonconference play.
While becoming the winningest coach in Concordia Softball history, Frank Greene served as an example of what really matters. Coach Greene was someone who worked tirelessly to supply his players a first-class experience.

Standout juniors Megan Eurich and Kylie Shottenkirk highlighted the Concordia selections on the 2024 Omaha World-Herald All-Midlands Softball Team. Seven other Bulldogs were named honorable mention award winners.

Formerly the Head Softball Coach at Lincoln Northeast High School, Melissa Martinez has been named the top assistant on the Concordia University, Nebraska Softball coaching staff, as announced on June 6.
In 2014 then first-year head coach Todd LaVelle guided the Concordia University softball team to its first-ever national tournament appearance. A year later the Bulldogs captured the program’s first-ever win on the national stage.
For the second time in program history, and for the first time since 2007, the Concordia University softball team has earned the distinction of GPAC tournament champion.
