With inclement weather ruling the Midwest in early Spring, the Bulldogs competed against No. 7 Northwestern, dropping both games in the doubleheader at the ASB Sports Complex.

Concordia University, Nebraska softball team split a doubleheader with No. 22 Midland on Wednesday (April 2) at Plum Creek Park, winning game one, 2-0, before falling 1-0 in the second.

After finally taking the field in front of their home crowd, the Bulldogs’ competition will reach another level of intensity, welcoming the only two ranked foes in the conference.

The Bulldogs' offense surged towards a sweep of the Chargers in their home opener at Plum Creek Park on Friday (March 28). Hanna Bowers broke Briar Cliff’s spirit with a seventh inning walk off.

Aubrey Bruning and Delanie Voshell’s hot hitting night led the Bulldogs to a split versus the Hastings on Wednesday night. Concordia University, Nebraska Softball defeated the Broncos in game two.

The Bulldogs will finally come home to Plum Creek Park but not before the midweek doubleheader versus Hastings. Concordia University, Nebraska Softball will host Briar Cliff in its home opener after playing its first 26 games on the road.

Concordia Softball faced a stiff test on Saturday (March 22) as it opened conference play with a doubleheader split at Dakota Wesleyan. The Bulldogs held off the Tigers in game two, 10-8, after dropping game one, 3-2.

Concordia University, Nebraska Softball enters conference competition versus a tough Morningside and Dakota Wesleyan on the road in the coming days. The Bulldogs will travel to Sioux City, Iowa and Mitchell, S.D. this weekend.

All three phases were instrumental in the final day of the Tucson Invite as the Dawgs finished with two victories over Salve Regina University (R.I), 6-2, and Simpson University (Calif.), 8-3 on Thursday.

Megan Eurich pitched eight strikeouts making way for the Bulldogs to defeat Valley City State, 8-3, in game two on Wednesday. CUNE collected nine hits in each contest but were able to put three more across the final plate versus VCSU.
