Concordia clinch the GPAC's No. 2 seed by defeating Doane on Wednesday night. The contest will mark the end of the regular season for the Bulldogs, who have will celebrate their senior class prior to kickoff.
A focused Bulldog team did not overlook Presentation while earning a 9-0 win on Saturday (Oct. 22). Isaiah Shaddick got loose for a hat trick as one of six Concordia players to score in the outburst. The Bulldogs earned win No. 12.
A contest that appeared headed for a draw concluded with a feel-good moment for the Bulldogs, who celebrated a game-winning goal from Victor Meneses. His goal in the 83rd minute lifted Concordia to a 1-0 win over Briar Cliff.
The unbeaten streak was pushed to six last week as the Bulldogs tied with Hastings. The goal now is to remain inside the top two of the GPAC standings as Concordia hosts Briar Cliff and makes a visit to Presentation.
Concordia erased a 1-0 halftime deficit and was the clear aggressor over the final 45 minutes of action with rival and first-place Hastings. The final result was a 1-1 tie an intense battle that lived up to the anticipation.
The always intense rivalry battle between Concordia and Hastings is coming up Saturday. The two sides currently hold down the top two spots in the GPAC standings. The Bulldogs own an overall record of 10-2-1.
Another three-goal week led to another GPAC Offensive Player of the Week award for Concordia's Dominic Abdel-Ahad. The senior striker helped the Bulldogs to a 6-0 win over Jamestown and leads the team with nine goals this season.
In the latest weekend home rout, the Bulldogs got two more goals from the surging Dominic Abdel-Ahad and ran away from visiting Jamestown, 6-0. Head Coach Jason Weides' squad claimed win No. 10 of the season.
Polar opposite halves were the story of the night as Concordia settled for a 2-2 draw at Morningside. The Bulldogs had taken a 2-0 lead to the break with the help of an early goal from Dominic Abdel-Ahad.
A hat trick in this past Saturday’s win over Dakota Wesleyan has led to Dominic Adel-Ahad being named the GPAC Offensive Player of the Week. Abel-Ahad leads the Bulldogs with six goals this season.
