


The NAIA has announced that 284 men's soccer student-athletes have been named 2010 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Seniors Jacob Lias and Dan Geu each received the honor for the Bulldogs.

The 2010 Great Plains Athletic Conference men’s soccer all-conference team has been selected. Aaron Skipworth, Kurt O’Kelly and Todd May earned conference honors for Concordia.

Hastings College, the top seed in the 2010 GPAC men’s soccer tournament, picked up a 2-0 win over Concordia on Thursday evening in Hastings.

Chase Beiermann scored with less than three minutes left in regulation to lift Briar Cliff University to a 2-1 men’s soccer win over Concordia University on Saturday evening in Seward.

Morningside College rallied for a 2-1 men’s soccer win over Concordia University on Saturday evening in Sioux City.

Doane College trailed by three goals on two occasions but rallied for a 5-4 men’s soccer win over Concordia on Wednesday evening in Crete. Devon Strecker had three goals to lead Doane to the win. Concordia led 3-0 and 4-1 before the Tigers mounted the comeback.

Mount Marty’s Tyler Neu scored with less than two minutes remaining in the game, and the Lancers picked up a 2-1 men’s soccer win over Concordia on Saturday afternoon.

Aaron Skipworth and Nathan Douglas scored two goals apiece in the first half, and the Concordia University men’s soccer team routed York College by the score of 8-0 on Wednesday evening in Seward.
