After a competitive first half, the Bulldogs ran away with a 38-7 victory while spoiling Mount Marty's homecoming on Saturday (Oct. 16). Caydren Cox scored on defense, Lane Napier notched 20 tackles and DJ McGarvie threw for three touchdowns.
Concordia will meet up with Mount Marty for the first time ever when kickoff arrives on Saturday. The Bulldogs are looking to extend their win streak to three while the Lancers are aiming for their first win in program history.
GPAC sack leader Caydren Cox has been named the conference's Defensive Player of the Week following a two-sack outing in the 24-17 win at Jamestown. The Concordia defense held the Jimmies to 306 total yards.
The defense put together another solid performance while DJ McGarvie fired three touchdown passes, two to Korrell Koehlmoos, in Concordia's first road win of 2021. The Bulldogs defeated Jamestown, 24-17.
After totaling five touchdowns and more than 300 yards of offense, DJ McGarvie has been named the GPAC Offensive Player of the Week. McGarvie quarterbacked the Bulldogs to a 34-0 win over Dakota Wesleyan.
Following a 34-0 drubbing of Dakota Wesleyan, the Concordia Football team seeks its first road win of the season. The Bulldogs will go head-to-head with the Jimmies in North Dakota on Saturday.
