After making a strong push against No. 1 Northwestern, the Bulldogs will hit the road for the first time in 2023. Concordia will be at Jamestown for a 1 p.m. CT kickoff on Saturday. It will be the sixth all-time meeting between the two sides.
Concordia has announced a change to the kickoff time for the Sept. 30 home game versus Briar Cliff. Instead of a 1 p.m. start, the game will get underway at 6 p.m. CT underneath the lights inside Bulldog Stadium.
DJ McGarvie and the Concordia offense found themselves in a good old-fashioned shootout with the No. 1 team in the land. Ultimately, the firepower of defending national champion Northwestern won out, 48-35, on a hot day in Seward.

Right off the top, Concordia Football will draw defending national champion Northwestern. The 2023 season opener on Saturday will mark the 46th all-time meeting between the two sides. The Bulldogs' most recent series win came in 2016.

After tying for sixth place in the conference in 2022, Concordia Football has been pegged at No. 6 in the 2023 GPAC Preseason Football Coaches’ Poll. The Bulldogs pulled in 57 points, landing just behind Hastings (59).
