A positive turnover margin and a few big plays on offense were enough to lift the Bulldog football team to a 14-9 victory over Dakota Wesleyan on Saturday afternoon (Oct. 6). Garrett Schardt went over 100 yards receiving.
After an improved passing performance last week, the Concordia football team gets back to action at home this week with Dakota Wesleyan making the trip to Seward. The Bulldogs are now 2-2 on the season.
Jake Kemp and the passing game got rolling at Dordt on Saturday (Sept. 29), but the Bulldogs failed to fully capitalize on four Defender turnovers. Host Dordt rode its power run game to a 38-19 victory.
