Playing in The Golden State for the second-straight day, Concordia pounced on 23rd-ranked California Maritime Academy with a blistering first half that left the Keehaulers in the dust.

The (RV) Concordia men’s basketball team prevailed in its first of two contests in California on Tuesday night. The Bulldogs displayed a 74-52 win over Simpson University, led by 22 points from Robby Thomas.

The Concordia men’s basketball team will travel to California for a pair of non-conference contests. The Bulldogs will first take on Simpson University on Tuesday, Dec. 29 and then California Maritime Academy on Wednesday, Dec. 30.

For the second time in his career, junior Chandler Folkerts has been named GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men’s Basketball Player of the Week.

The Concordia men’s basketball team will host Dordt College and Mount Marty College this week. The Defenders will be in town on Wednesday, Dec. 9 for an 8 p.m. tipoff. The Lancers will travel on Saturday, Dec. 12 with start time slated for 4 p.m.
