In a frenzied Friedrich Arena, the Bulldogs prevailed over Concordia Wisconsin, 82-64, behind CIT MVP Noah Schutte. Contributions came from all directions over the two days as CUNE claimed the 29th CIT title in program history.

Zac Kulus emerged with a breakout game that featured five 3-point field goals in the final 10:20 of game time. His flurry buried visiting Concordia Chicago as the Bulldogs won, 89-70, in Friday (Jan. 27)'s final CIT game.

Noah Schutte celebrated his birthday on Wednesday (Jan. 25) by leading a steamrolling of Hastings, 80-42. Schutte outscored the Broncos by himself in the opening half on his way to a 23-point night for the Bulldogs (12-9, 8-7 GPAC).

The week of CIT will feature wall-to-wall basketball inside Friedrich Arena. On the men's side the Bulldogs will attempt to add to their 28 all-time CIT titles. First thing's first, CUNE will focus on Wednesday's GPAC matchup with Hastings.

The road was unkind on Saturday (Jan. 21) as the Bulldogs quickly fell behind and never recovered at Northwestern. The Red Raiders coasted to a 79-65 win while evening the season series. Concordia slipped to 11-9 overall, 7-7 GPAC.

Noah Schutte and Brad Bennett combined for 37 second half points while spearheading another rally that proved to be too little too late. The Bulldogs fell at the hands of No. 20 Morningside, 76-71, on Thursday (Jan. 20).

Following a close defeat at No. 14 Jamestown, the Bulldogs face two significant challenges this week in the form of No. 20 Morningside and Northwestern. Head Coach Ben Limback's squad stands at 11-7 overall, 7-5 GPAC.

Concordia trailed by as many as 19 points and still faced a 12-point hole with less than 3:30 remaining on Saturday in Jamestown. Garrett Seagren spurred a frantic rally that came up just short in a 69-64 loss to the 14th-ranked Jimmies.

This past weekend's win over Dakota Wesleyan kept the Bulldogs in the thick of things near the top of the GPAC standings. At 7-4 in league play, Concordia has a mid-week bye before hitting the road to play No. 9 Jamestown on Saturday.

Gage Smith and company were determined to get their season back on the right track after Thursday's disappointment. Smith produced a monster game on Saturday (Jan. 7) as the Bulldogs defeated Dakota Wesleyan, 78-69.
