Usual suspects Noah Schutte and Tristan Smith led the way as the Bulldogs knocked off a fellow 2023 national tournament qualifier in Mayville State, 88-73. Schutte racked up 25 points on day one of the annual Cattle Classic.
As part of the 24th annual Cattle Classic, the Concordia Men's Basketball program will welcome Hastings, Mayville State and William Penn to Friedrich Arena. The event raises canned food and money for local food pantries.

For the third season in a row, the Concordia Men's Basketball has laid claim to having the top small college player in the state of Nebraska. That distinction goes to Noah Schutte, as selected by the Omaha World-Herald.
After a season of averaging more than 20 points per game, Noah Schutte has landed on the list of 2023 NAIA Honorable Mention All-Americans. Schutte is the fourth different Bulldog coached by Ben Limback to earn All-America status.
