After a pair of close losses, the Concordia men’s basketball team looks for redemption this week. The Bulldogs will host Hastings on and travel to Mount Marty.

Despite a 17-5 run late in the game, the Bulldogs came up just short in another thrilling, down to the wire game. The 15th-ranked Dakota Wesleyan Tigers hung onto their lead and took an 84-80 victory in Walz Arena.

Future Bulldog men's basketball player Brevin Sloup, currently a senior at Seward High School, appeared on the Prep Zone Weekly TV show.

In another wire-to-wire battle, Concordia dropped a nonconference tilt for the first time this season. York College defeated the Bulldogs, 70-65.

This week the Concordia University men’s basketball team will take a small break from GPAC action. The Bulldogs are set to travel to York College on Wednesday before resuming conference play. The Tigers of Dakota Wesleyan University will pay a visit to Walz Arena Saturday.

The one-two punch of Chandler Folkerts and Robby Thomas knocked out the host Red Raiders in Saturday afternoon’s GPAC tilt. The duo combined for 53 points in the 87-81 win at Northwestern.

After a first half of the 2015-16 season full of meat grinders, the Bulldogs eye a big stretch run behind their talented core.
