The final week of the regular season has arrived for Concordia men's basketball. The program will honor its four seniors when it hosts Dordt on Saturday. The senior class includes star post Chandler Folkerts.

This was a gut-check victory for Concordia men's basketball, which upset No. 7 Dakota Wesleyan, 109-106, in a road overtime heart stopper on Sunday afternoon. Chandler Folkerts went off for 37 points and 14 rebounds.

Clay Reimers has been a shooting star for Concordia men's basketball, which made a hard push for a road win at No. 18 Briar Cliff on Saturday afternoon. Unfortunately, its six-game win streak was snapped.

Winner of the Emil S. Liston Scholarship Award, senior Chandler Folkerts continues to pile up accolades. On Thursday (Feb. 9), he was named a CoSIDA Academic All-District selection for the third time in his career.

The win streak moved to six for the Bulldogs, who outshot Doane, 52.9 to 41.4 percent, and out-muscled them on the boards, 48-28. Chandler Folkerts put up 21 points while making all nine shots from the field.

Just two weeks remain in the regular season for Concordia, which has won five-straight games heading into a busy week. The Bulldogs aim to move up from their seventh place GPAC standing.

Chandler Folkerts and Clay Reimers went a combined 13-for-16 from the floor while helping a defensively stout Bulldog team to an 82-61 win over host Mount Marty on Saturday. The Bulldogs have won five in a row.

Concordia flipped a switch after halftime and rolled to its fourth-straight win. The latest victory was a 107-70 decision over Grace University. Chandler Folkerts had a double-double and Eli Ziegler totaled 21 points.
