Noah Schutte made it a memorable Wednesday (Jan. 8) night in rising to the top of the Concordia all-time scoring list as part of an 81-60 win at Doane. Schutte surpassed Jon Ziegler as the new record holder.
Senior Brad Bennett excelled on both ends of the floor as the Bulldogs earned wins last week over Dakota Wesleyan and No. 11 Dordt. Bennett swiped two steals and drained eight 3-point field goals in the win over Dordt.
Concordia Men's Basketball carries a five-game GPAC win streak into a week featuring two road contests. All-American Noah Schutte is on the cusp of becoming the program's all-time leading scorer.
In a stunningly dominant outing, the Bulldogs hit No. 11 Dordt with a flurry of Brad Bennett treys and won going away, 99-72. Concordia shot 62.3 percent from the floor and held the Defenders well below their season scoring average.

Tristan Smith and Jaxon Stueve combined for 47 points as the Bulldogs blistered the nets in a 95-84 win at the Corn Palace on Thursday (Jan. 2). Stueve rang in the New Year by going 8-for-8 from the floor.
For his role in Concordia's 89-55 win over MidAmerica Nazarene, sophomore Jaxon Stueve was named the GPAC Defensive Player of the Week. Stueve posted 11 points and four steals in the win.
The Bulldogs are preparing to get back on the GPAC grind. A challenging week includes a trip to Dakota Wesleyan and a home matchup with undefeated and 11th-ranked Dordt.
In making their first home appearance since Dec. 11, the Bulldogs shot better than 65 percent in the first half and steamrolled their way to an 89-55 win over MidAmerica Nazarene. Logan Wilson dropped in 11 points off the bench.
In the final home event of 2024, the Bulldogs will welcome MidAmerica Nazarene to Friedrich Arena on Saturday. Concordia stands at 8-4. Admission will be free.
