After posting three-straight double-doubles while leading the Bulldogs to a 3-0 week, Tristan Smith has been named the GPAC Player of the Week. Smith is averaging 17.9 points and 9.5 rebounds on the season.

With the CIT trophy secured for another year, the Bulldogs now shift focus to a week of significance within the GPAC. Coach Limback's squad will be at Morningside before hosting Northwestern for a program 100-year celebration.

Late fireworks from the likes of CIT MVP Noah Schutte and Tristan Smith boosted the Bulldogs to a 75-69 win over Concordia Wisconsin in the CIT championship on Saturday (Jan. 27). Schutte and Smith both notched double-doubles.

It was a grind, but the Bulldogs did just enough to turn away Concordia Ann Arbor, 80-75, on Friday (Jan. 26) at the 2024 CIT. Hayden Frank topped CUNE with 17 points and Tristan Smith supplied 16 points and 16 rebonds.

In the wake of an upcoming Concordia Invitational Tournament (CIT), the Bulldogs started their week with a conference foe square-off against Mount Marty. Concordia kept their eyes focused on the opponent in front of them and annihilated the Lancers on both ends of the floor, for a 92-63 triumph.

Coming off a heartbreaker on the road, the Bulldogs looked to find their groove against a familiar conference foe on Saturday. With fans dressed in white at Friedrich Arena, Concordia bolted on a 22-1 run, behind four Zac Kulus treys, to set up an 87-82 win over Briar Cliff.

In a Bulldog-Bronco white-knuckler in Hastings, a free throw with 3.1 seconds left supplied the deciding point as the Broncos won a heart thumper, 79-78. Concordia rallied back from 17 points down to tie in the second half before falling.

The Bulldogs hope to bottle up the offensive efficiency they displayed in the 106-69 rout of Doane last week as they prep for matchups with Hastings and Briar Cliff. Concordia ranks 13th nationally in scoring average.
