The 13th national tournament appearance in Concordia Men's Basketball program history will take place in Salina, Kansas. The Bulldogs were assigned to Salina while rewarded with a No. 4 seed.

Three prominent veteran players from the 20th-ranked Concordia Men's Basketball team were honored on Wednesday (March 6) as Noah Schutte, Tristan Smith and Brad Bennett were each named GPAC All-Conference award winners.

The second meeting in 11 days between the Concordia Men’s Basketball team and Hastings resulted in another nail-biter. This time, Hastings made the crucial plays down the stretch and advanced to the GPAC tournament final.

A rematch of a physical battle that took place in the final week of the regular season is on tap in the GPAC semifinals. The 20th-ranked Bulldogs will be at Hastings on Saturday with a spot in the GPAC title game on the line.

It just wouldn’t be Concordia Men’s Basketball if it didn’t come down to the wire. The duo of Noah Schutte and Tristan Smith led the way on Wednesday (Feb. 28) as the Bulldogs outlasted Dordt, 87-83, in the GPAC quarterfinals.

On the heels of earning a share of the GPAC regular season title, the Bulldogs now prepare to host Dordt in the GPAC quarterfinals. The two sides split in the regulars season with the home team winning in both instances.

The Bulldogs made their fans sweat it out on senior day, but they pulled through with another overtime victory. The 90-84 triumph over Midland allowed No. 21 Concordia to share the GPAC regular season title.

Chalk it up as a game for Bulldog folklore. Somehow, some way, the Bulldogs snatched the overtime clash out of the fire, 69-67, over Hastings on Wednesday (Feb. 21). Concordia pulled even for first place in the GPAC.

With two games at home remaining in the regular season, the Bulldogs have a shot at earning at least a share of the GPAC regular season title. Concordia will celebrate its senior class on Saturday.
Currently the third-highest scoring team in program history (in terms of scoring average), the Bulldogs have won seven of eight games. They rate as one of the nation's most efficient offensive teams.
