A top post player in the entire NAIA, junior Chandler Folkerts received another honor on Thursday. CoSIDA named Folkerts to its academic all-district team.
The Concordia men’s basketball team grabbed a win over Midland University. The Bulldogs outscored the Warriors 91-85 on Wednesday night inside Walz Arena.
The Concordia men’s basketball team will host two contest inside Walz Arena this week. On Wednesday night, the Bulldogs will face the Midland Warriors before welcoming the Northwestern Red Raiders on Saturday.
The Concordia men’s basketball team defeated Morningside College 83-79 on Saturday afternoon. The Bulldogs shot .531 from the field and saw two player score above 20.
Despite 27 points and 14 rebounds from Chandler Folkerts, Concordia fell to high-powered Nebraska Wesleyan, 96-83, on Wednesday night.
After taking the CIT Championship title, the Concordia men’s basketball team will return to GPAC play. The Bulldogs will travel to Nebraska Wesleyan on Wednesday and to Morningside on Saturday.
The Bulldogs shot 56.6 percent from the field and got 24 points from Chandler Folkerts in Saturday's CIT championship victory. CUNE claimed its 26th all-time CIT title.
A second half surge powered the Bulldogs to a blowout win over Concordia Ann Arbor at the 65th annual Concordia Invitational Tournament. The Bulldogs will play in Saturday's title game.
The Bulldogs claimed a victory over Doane College, 89-81 Wednesday night thanks to a lofty .588 shooting percentage from Concordia.
