The Concordia University men’s basketball team improved to 8-2 overall and 4-1 in GPAC play with a decisive 76-56 win over Hastings College on Wednesday evening in Seward.
The Concordia University men’s basketball team moved into the top 25 in the latest NAIA Coaches’ Poll. It’s the first time the Bulldogs have been ranked this season.
Concordia University secured an 82-71 men’s basketball win over Dakota Wesleyan University on Saturday evening in Seward. The Bulldogs led for most of the way, but had to hold off a late rally by DWU to pick up the win.
Doane College outscored Concordia by 16 in the second half and picked up an 82-65 men’s basketball win on Wednesday evening in Crete. The Tigers improved to 7-2 on the season with a 2-0 mark in conference play with the win.
The Concordia University men’s basketball team improved to 6-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play with a 69-53 win over Midland University on Tuesday evening in Fremont. The Bulldogs used balanced scoring and a suffocating defense to pull away for the easy victory.
Concordia’s Tyler Byrd is this week’s GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports men’s basketball Player-of-the-Week. He averaged 22 points and six rebounds a game as the Bulldogs went 2-0 this past week.
Concordia jumped out to an early lead and then held on for a 76-67 men’s basketball win over Morningside College on Saturday afternoon in Seward. The Bulldogs won their fifth straight game to improve to 5-1 overall and 1-0 in conference play.
