Saw action in 47 games while starting in 46 of those games and batting .339 ... owned the highest slugging percentage on his team (.548) and tallied the most runs (41) and doubles (15) ... also recorded 57 hits, one triple, and six home runs ... recorded 33 RBIs ... owned a .428 on-base percentage ... stole seven bases on seven attempts ... registered 84 putouts, 14 assists and three errors for a .970 fielding percentage ... pitched a total of 33.2 innings and held a 6.42 ERA ... owned a 2-3 win/loss record ... struck out 20 batters and walked 20 ... opposing batters held a .291 batting average against him ... recorded one shutout ... received Second Team All-GPAC accolades.

2017: Freshman
Appeared in 53 games as an outfield and took the ball 10 times on the mound ... batted .283 (36-127) with a .395 on-base percentage and .433 slugging percentage ... produced 27 runs, seven doubles, three triples, two home runs, 26 RBIs, 55 total bases and 20 walks ... as a pitcher, went 6-2 with a 3.83 ERA while tossing 51.2 innings ... allowed 26 runs (22 earned) on 66 hits and 18 walks to go against 39 strikeouts ... fired four shutouts ... tossed a seven-inning three-hit shutout at Dakota Wesleyan, helping Concordia clinch at least a share of the GPAC regular-season title on April 29 ... went 4-for-7 with a double, a triple, two runs and five RBIs in the win over Winnipeg on March 6.

Prepped at Pine Creek High School for head coach Glenn Milhauser … lettered for three years and started for two while serving as team captain his senior year … won First Team All-Conference his junior and senior year and All-State Honorable Mention his senior year … received Academic All-State First Team.

Born in Colorado Springs, Colo., on January 6, 1998 … son of Russ and Jody Council … has an older brother Reid and a younger brother Walker … enjoys sleeping, eating and fantasy football.
