BACK   NEXT ON TOUR Welcome

"Welcome to the online tour! We invite you to join us on campus for the real thing as well -- it's one of the best ways to learn if Concordia is the right place for you."

Welcome
When it was established in 1894, Concordia had one building where 12 students lived and learned. That single building was also home to Concordia's first president and professor, George Weller and his family. The university now has 10 dorms, another under construction, and over 1,300 students and more than 100 faculty members.

Weller Hall
Named after Concordia’s first professor and president, Rev. George Weller, Weller Hall has served as the campus’s main administrative building since its opening in September of 1925. The building originally housed the school’s library and now contains several classrooms.

The chapel/auditorium, housed in the east wing of the building, was added in 1952. It contains 567 seats and two organs and is used for daily chapel services, concerts, convocations, drama productions, campus movies and other events.
