Platte, South Dakota
Megan Burma’s hometown of Platte, South Dakota only has a little over 1,000 people. Coming from such a small town, Megan was nervous about college and moving to a big city. Luckily, Seward was just the right size for her, and that put her at ease.

“In my experience, Concordia is a great school for someone who came from a small town to be acclimated into the bigger city world,” Megan says. “Not only that but Concordia places such a high value on education that it will push you to do your very best. Being in the science field, having professors with a sound Christian faith made a huge impact on how I studied science past and present which not only helped make things clearer but also strengthened my faith.”
