A Cappella Choir on tour
Summer tour 2009
The A Cappella Choir will spend nearly three weeks touring Spain, Austria and Italy, giving concerts and competing in the 46th International Competition of Choral Singing in Spittal on der Drau, Austria. The tour launches June 24.
"We are all very excited," said Dr. Kurt von Kampen, associate professor of music and director of the choir. "We will perform in excellent spaces, many of which have a long, rich history. The tour also contributes to the total education of our students. They will experience another culture close up as they take in the fascinating locations and interact with our audiences."

Spring tour 2009
The University A Cappella Choir toured the upper Midwest for a week in late March 2009. Concerts, assemblies and clinics will be given at area churches and schools. The choir also perform a variety of sacred and secular choral anthems representative of many historical periods. This 70-member ensemble is conducted by Kurt E. von Kampen.
