Most recently the head girls’ soccer coach at Kofa High School in Yuma, Ariz., Jan Chvojan joined head coach Jason Weides’ staff prior to the 2017 season. He is a native of Plzen, Czech Republic. Chvojan's first season in Seward saw the Bulldog break the program record for wins in a season with 16.

While at NCAA Division I Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Ariz., Chvojan earned CoSIDA Academic All-America and Academic All-Western Athletic Conference accolades. He served as team captain of the Lopes and also filled the same role at his previous school, Mid-Continent University (Ky.). Chvojan picked up his degree in psychology. He’s pursuing an MBA in organizational development from Concordia.

In addition to two years spent as head girls’ coach at Kofa, Chvojan has worked the boys U-10 and U-14 club circuits for the PAO Soccer Academy in Paducah, Ky., (2015 and 2015) and for boys and girls U-17s in Yuma (2012).

Jan is the son of Jan and Dagmar. He has two sisters, Zuzana and Michaela.
