Mapes started 36 games - 14 at shortstop and 22 in left field...batted .305 (36-118) with seven doubles, a triple, a home run and 12 RBIs in 118 at bats...led the Bulldogs with 36 hits and 48 total bases...hit .357 with a .400 on-base percentage and .500 slugging percentage in conference games only...ended career with an eight-game hitting streak in which she went 11-for-32 (.344) during that stretch.

2012: Junior
Nicole appeared in 35 games with 34 starts at left field in her junior season along with 92 at bats... hit .250 with 23 hits including three doubles, three triples, and one home run along with 11 RBIs and 10 runs scored

2011: Sophomore
Nicole appeared in 41 games with 36 starts in her sophomore season…was third on the team with a .324 average…finished with totals of 13 runs scored, four doubles, one homer, 17 RBI’s, three stolen bases and a team-high 15 walks…had a .392 slugging percentage to go along with a .407 on-base percentage. 

2010: Freshman
Started all 42 games for the Bulldogs at shortstop in her freshman season…Hit .244 (30-of-123) with four doubles, one homer, 14 RBI’s and 15 runs scored…Also added three stolen bases…Drove in two runs vs. York College on 3-25-10 and vs. Dordt College on 4-22-10…Totaled three hits in four games during the season.

Prepped at Greeley Central High School in Greeley, Colorado, under coach Alicia Matt for four years ... Earned four varsity letters ... Captain for two years ... Sophomore year was all-conference honorable mention ... Senior year was MVP and defensive player of the year ... Also participated in soccer for three years and basketball for four years ... Was in the National Honor Society and on the academic honor roll ... Awarded the Rotary Youth Leadership award, Gold G Scholastic Award and was academic all-state first team.
