Bulldog Softball Signings

Incoming players for the 2012 season ...

Liz Maxwell

Liz played softball at Orange Lutheran (California) during all four years of her high school career.  She was a two-year captain on the JV squad and earned a varsity letter during her senior year.  Liz was honored with the Lancer Softball Player Award in 2010.  Liz also played travel ball for five years. 

Maxwell also enjoyed a successful high school career off the field.  She was heavily involved with mission work and mentoring.  She was in Honors Choir for two years and also took part in multiple women’s music ensembles.  Liz was also a member of the Honor Society and was on the High Honor Roll during each semester of her high school career. 

Molly Madsen

Molly lettered all four years in softball at Legacy High School in Colorado.  She won four state championships with Legacy High School and was a second team All-Conference selection as a senior.  She hit .429 (.500 on-base percentage) with three homers, seven doubles, 30 hits and 18 runs batted in as a senior.  Madsen was named to the All-Academic Team in 2007, 2008 and 2009.  Molly also played with the Colorado Stars club team.  She played in the Triple Crown and Colorado ASA All-Star games.    

Madsen also lettered for four years in tennis and was named to the All-Academic Team in 2008, 2009 and 2010.  She also earned one letter in swimming.   

Regan Doiel

Regan had a solid high school career at Millard West High School.  She lettered for three years and led her team to multiple state tournament appearances.  Doiel received Metropolitan Softball Association honorable mention recognition during her senior season. 

Doiel also played for the Omaha Quakes.  She helped her team to a fourth place finish at the Ringneck Invite in Sioux Falls in 2010, and she was named MVP at the 2010 USSSA Nationals for her defensive play.
