Jamie played in 14 games with 12 starts in her senior season…missed some time due to injury, but still finished with seven goals and four assists for 18 points…was second on the team in goals, assists and points…totaled 49 shots with 28 on goal…had two game-winning goals on the year…was an honorable mention All-GPAC selection...was an honorable mention selection on the Omaha World Herald's All-Nebraska Team.
2010 Junior
Sanchez appeared in and started 17 games for Concordia in her junior year…Finished first on the team with 11 goals and second on the team with six assists for a total of 28 points…Totaled 77 shots with 44 shots on goal and had three game-winning goals…Ranked first in the GPAC in total shots and shots per game…Was fifth in the conference in points and fourth in goals…Her six assists tied for seventh best in the GPAC…Had two goals in four games during the year (York College on 8-28-10, at McPherson College on 9-1-10, Dordt College on 10-9-10 and at Morningside College on 10-23-10)…Had two assists vs. York on 8-28-10 and vs. Bethany College on 9-11-10…Finished with a season-high six points in Concordia’s season-opening 5-1 win over York College, finishing with two goals and two assists…Earned Second Team All-GPAC honors.
High School
Went to high school at Lincoln Lutheran. In her freshmen year she recieved all-state honorable mention. In her sophomore year she recieved all-city 1st team and all-state 2nd team class B distinctions. In her Junior and Senior years she made the all-city 1st team, all-state 1st team class B. Jamie transferred her from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln where she was a letter winner in 2008 and 2009.
