Cross Country: Sara started off the season with a second place finish at the Concordia Open ... She ran her fastest time of 17:58.55 at the Briar Cliff Invite placing her fourth ... At the GPAC Championships she placed fourth with a time of 18:36.96 ... This time qualified her for the NAIA Championships. Indoor: Sarah ran only twice this seaon before conference, but it was enough to qualify her in the 3k and 5k ... At the Husker Invite she ran a time of 18:15.90 in the 5k to qualify for the NAIA championships ... At the GPAC championships she was All-Conference in the 3k and 5k, 4th and 7th respectively ... The NAIA championsips brought Sarah a time of 17:47.85 in the 5k, which is her personal best 5k.

Indoor: Sarah had a very successful season … She ran the 1 mile at the Scott Nisely Memorial meet and ran a time of 5:27.48 … Sarah’s fastest time in the 3000m was 10:28.05 … She ran this time at the GPAC Championships and placed third to make her All-Conference … Sarah also ran the 5000m … Her fastest time in the 5000m was ran at the GPAC Championships and was a time of 17:58.02 … She was All-Conference in the 5000m and placed second … Sarah qualified in the 3000m and the 5000m for the NAIA National Championships … At the NAIA National Championships Sarah placed eighteenth in the 3000m with a time of 10:56.06 … Sarah also placed ninth in the 5000m with a time of 18:06.57. Outdoor: Sarah continued her success into her freshman outdoor track season...She ran two events, the 5000m and the 10000m...Sarah ran her best time in the 5000m at the Doane Tune-Up meet with a time of 18:23.51...She also placed first in this event at the Doane Relays and Concordia Twilight meet...Sarah placed fifth in the Outdoor GPAC Championships in the 5000m...In the 10000m, Sarah qualified at the Concordia Invite, placing first with a time of 38:25.80...Sarah ran her best 10000m race at the GPAC Championship meet with a time of 38:19.33...This time earned Sarah first place and the title of GPAC Champion in the 10000m race...Sarah also competed in the 10000m race at Nationals, placing fourteenth.
