Cross Country: Martha improved greatly throughout the season ... She started off the season running 20:40.00 at the Concordia Open 5k ... Later in the season she ran a time of 18:33.70 at the Briar Cliff Invite 5k ... She qualified to run in the GPAC Championships where she placed thrity-third and ran a time of 20:12.12. Indoor: Martha had a great indoor season ... She ran the 800m, 1000m, and the mile races ... At the first meet Martha was one the first place distance medley relay ... She ran her fastest 1000m at the Holiday Inn Classic in a time of 3:06.00 ... The GPAC championships brought success to Martha ... She placed fourth in the 800m with a time of 2:19.34 and eigth in the 1000m with a time of 3:09.66 ... She also ran the mile at the GPAC championships in a time of 5:26.57 ... At the NAIA championships she ran on the 4x800m relay and earnd All-American honors with a sixth place finish.

Indoor: Martha ran very well … Her main event was the 1000m … The other events she ran consisted of the 600m, 800m, the 4x400m relay and the Distance Medley Relay … Her fastest time in the 600m was 1:33.70 … She ran this time at the first track meet of the season … In the 800m Martha ran a time of 2:25.73 at the Nebraska Wesleyan Invite … She ran her fastest time in the 1000m at the Husker Invite … Martha ran a time of 3:03.33 and qualified for the NAIA National Championships … At the NAIA National Championships Martha ran a time of 3:07.62 and finished twentieth … She also ran on the Distance Medley Relay and finished seventeenth and ran a time of 12:46.20. Outdoor: Martha continued to improve her times for the three events she ran: 400m hurdles, 800m, and 1500m...Martha set a new personal record in the 400m hurdles at the Concordia Invite with a time of 1:09.66...She also improved her personal record in the 1500m at Doane Relays with a time of 4:59.73...Martha competed in the 4x800m relay at the GPAC Championship meet...The relay team placed 3rd and earned All-Conference Honors.
