Kami vaulted 10-00.00 at the Doan Field Plus meet to start off her seaon ... She improved throughout the season clearing a height of 10-08.00 at the Prairie Wolf Invite ... She qualified for the GPAC championships and vaulted at height of 10-05.25 at that meet.

2010 Freshman
Indoor:  
Kami improved throughout her first indoor season … She started the season vaulting a height of 9-02.25 … At the Concordia Invite Kami vaulted a height of 11-03.00 and placed first … She also qualified for the NAIA National Championships with this vault … At the GPAC Championships Kami vaulted 10-08.75 and placed sixth … She was All-Conference in the pole vault … Unfortunately, at the NAIA National Championships Kami wasn’t able to vault a height. Outdoor: Kami participated in pole vaulting and the javelin throw during her freshman outdoor season...She continued to improve her height in pole vault, though not surpassing her height from the indoor season...In the javelin throw, Kami's best distance was 85-04 at the Doane Relays.

Prepped at Lincoln Southwest High School in Lincoln, Nebraska, under coach Chris Johnson for four years ... Earned four varsity letters ... Freshman year was city champion ... Sophomore year was district champion ... Junior year was conference and district champion, city champion and Norfolk Invite champion ... Senior year was the 2009 LPS indoor champion ... Also participated in diving for one year ... Was in the National Honor Society, on the academic honor roll and academic all-star.
