Concordia women place sixth, men take eleventh in 4x800 Relay at Drake Relays
The Concordia University, Nebraska, track team was represented well by both the men's and women’s 4x800 Relay teams at the Drake Relays on Friday, April 27 and Saturday, April 28.
The men's squad of junior Jared Hoffman (Griswold, Iowa), senior David Eads (Bellevue, Neb.), sophomore Adam Prahlow (Florrisant, Mo.) and freshman Benjamin Sievert (Frankenmuth, Mich.) posted a time of 7:47.37 on Friday evening to place eleventh in the College Division of the 4x800 Meter Relay. University of Wisconsin, Stevens Point won the event in 7:33.51.
Saturday saw the women's squad of seniors Bethany Sutton (Lincoln, Neb.) and Martha Meineke (Denver, Colo.) join sophomore Jenan Williams (North Mankato, Minn.) and junior Jena Schwalenberg (Columbus, Neb.) to take sixth place with a time of 9:20.72 in the College Division of the 4x800 Meter Relay. Oklahoma Baptist's team claimed the event in 9:03.45.
