Women's team falls to Bethel, 8-1
The Concordia University (Neb.) women’s tennis team suffered an 8-1 defeat at the hands of Bethel College on Friday, Mar. 2 in the Bulldogs season opener. The victory evened the Threshers record at 2-2 for the season.
Sophomore Katelyn Koll (Wilber, Neb.) secured the lone victory for Concordia, earning a straight set win at the No. 1 singles slot over Katie Malotte, 6-2, 6-3.
The Bulldogs return to the court on Friday, Mar. 23 as Concordia travels to Salina, Kan., for a neutral site contest against Tabor College at 3 p.m.
