SEWARD, Neb. – Hastings remained undefeated in conference play by laying a 9-0 loss on the Concordia University men’s tennis team on Tuesday evening in Seward. The visiting Broncos dominated by winning all singles and doubles sets in the match.

Head coach Joel Reckewey’s Bulldog men fell to 3-8 overall and 1-3 in conference action.

Patricio Esquivel, last week’s GPAC player of the week, led Concordia in terms of games won. He dropped a 6-2, 6-4 decision to Isaac Mertens at No. 2 singles. Hastings won 72 of 93 singles games played on Wednesday. The Broncos (15-10, 4-0 GPAC) were even more impressive in doubles, dropping just a combined four games.

The Bulldogs will close the regular season on Monday, April 27 when they host Doane (6-4, 2-1 GPAC). First serve is set for 4 p.m. in Seward.
