With the regular season coming to a close, the fifth-seeded Bulldogs are preparing to take on the fourth-seeded Doane in the first round of the 2024 GPAC Men’s Tennis Championship, which is slated to get underway on Friday from First Serve Tennis Center in South Sioux City, Neb.
The Concordia Men’s Tennis team went west to Hastings for its final regular season dual on Saturday morning (Apr. 20). With the Broncos only having four athletes, the Dawgs pounced on their conference rival, 6-1, and sealed their spot in the conference tournament.

Following a 2022-23 season that saw the Bulldogs finish at 12-9 overall (3-3 GPAC), the program begins anew under Head Coach Lisa Hart. The spring 2024 roster features four returners and four newcomers.
Charles Krutz and a team of eight talented Bulldogs helped bring greater attention to the tennis program at Concordia in the spring of 1983. Led by Stan Meyer, the Bulldogs enjoyed an undefeated season and won the NIAC championship.
A new-look lineup for Concordia Men's Tennis debuted in the fall when the Bulldogs knocked off Bethel College. Head Coach Cam Long's squad has experienced returners in Juan Rabellino, Eduardo Rojas and Shawn Springer.
The senior group (including one fifth-year member) of Jeremiah Berryman, Joe Bindl, Isaac Howes and Jack Kitson has been a rock for Concordia Men's Tennis. The quartet led the program to new heights in 2021 and hopes for more in 2022.

t’s been a long time coming for Concordia Men’s Tennis, which returned to the court in the fall after an extended layoff. The Bulldogs bring back a wealth of experience and depth on the 2021 roster.
Unsatisfied with how the 2019-20 season ended abruptly, Luke Zoller is back for a fifth year of collegiate tennis. Says Zoller, "I’m glad I chose to come back and I think it was the right decision."
Lineup depth had become a theme in the early going of the spring for both Concordia University tennis squads. Coach DeSimone's squads ended their seasons with wins and were ranked in the top three of the GPAC.
Ranked fourth in the GPAC preseason ratings, senior Luke Zoller and his teammates are aspiring to put forth a breakthrough campaign. The Bulldogs reached the GPAC semifinals last season.
