Ayala led Concordia in wins by going 19-21 as Concordia's only wrestler to compete at the heavyweight spot...tied a team high with six pins...placed at four tournaments with his highest finish coming at the Hastings Quality Hotel Open (Jan. 12) where he took third with a 3-1 mark...took fourth place at the Bethany Swede Open on Nov. 10...placed sixth at both the Simpson Invite (Dec. 1) and the Buena Vista Open (Dec. 8)...four tournament place finishes were most on the team...went 6-6 in dual meets...tallied 31 takedowns, 39 escapes, seven reversals and five near falls.
