D'Ercole concludes collegiate golf career with All-GPAC honors

SEWARD, Neb. – One of the most accomplished student-athletes in Concordia University Men’s Golf program history, Drew D’Ercole pulled in another accolade on Wednesday (May 8). The league office announced D’Ercole as a 2023-24 GPAC All-Conference First Team selection. The Papillion, Neb., native has earned his fourth career all-conference award. The selections are voted upon by league coaches.

D’Ercole finished his college career in strong fashion as he placed in a tie for fourth at the 2024 GPAC Championships. The fifth-year Bulldog shot a three-round conference total of 69-77-75–221. The 2023-24 season for D’Ercole included four top-five tournament finishes, five top-10 placements and an 18-hole scoring average of 74.4 (25 rounds). His season low of 68 came in the opening round of the season at the UC Ferguson Classic. In major highlights, D’Ercole placed fourth at the Blue River Classic, fourth at the Nebraska Intercollegiate, fourth at the Graceland Invite and fourth at the conference tournament.

In his five seasons at Concordia, D’Ercole played 92 rounds and averaged a score of 75.8. D’Ercole played in 42 events as a Bulldog and finished in the top 10 a total of 13 times and placed inside the top five a total of eight times. The accolades for D’Ercole have included NAIA Scholar-Athlete, Academic All-District and All-America (CSC), NAIA PING Central All-Region and GCAA All-America Scholar status. D’Ercole has also served as a graduate assistant under Head Coach Brett Muller.
