LINCOLN, Neb. – Concordia University Men’s Golf will keep the rivalry cup in Seward. Head Coach Brett Muller’s squad prevailed in the annual Bulldog-Tiger Cup while winning by a count of 12-9 over Doane. The unique match-play format featured doubles best ball matches and singles matches in what was the 10th all-time Bulldog-Tiger Cup. This year’s event took place at Highlands Golf Course in Lincoln, Neb., on Thursday (April 25).
Muller’s program has claimed the cup in back-to-back years. Concordia won the 2023 cup played at York Country Club by a score of 10-8.
Full results from the 2024 Bulldog-Tiger Cup are listed below. The Bulldog winners in the best ball matches were Jake Richmond/Brock Rogers, Gavin McWhorter/Josh D’Ercole and Taylor Johnson/Colin Aubuchon. In singles play, the victorious Concordia competitors were Jacob Dowd, Jake Richmond, Brock Rogers, Justin Webert, Jake Hagerbaumer, Jaxson Fullerton and Colin Aubuchon.
