    Napier earns GPAC weekly award

    For the second time in his career, sophomore Lane Napier has been named the GPAC Defensive Player of the Week. Napier totaled 21 tackles (2.5 for loss) and a sack in the win at Jamestown.

  • A gritty defensive effort and a pair of bad snaps played critical roles in allowing the Concordia football team to escape North Dakota with a 16-13 win over Jamestown on Saturday (Sept. 15).

  • The GPAC opener for Concordia football is coming up Saturday in Jamestown, N.D. Fresh off a win over Buena Vista, the Bulldogs are looking to get healthier as they head north for the long trek.

  • A 250-yard, two-touchdown performance yielded a GPAC Offensive Player of the Week award for junior running back Ryan Durdon. It's the second time in his career that he's earned such an honor.

  • A 250-yard outburst by Ryan Durdon supplied most of the offensive production for a Bulldog squad that gutted out a 27-20 win in its season opener versus Buena Vista. The Bulldogs held the Beavers to 21 yards rushing.

  • Game week has arrived for the Concordia football program, which will open its season on Saturday (Sept. 8) by hosting NCAA Division III Buena Vista University. Kickoff from Bulldog Stadium is set for 1 p.m. CT.
