A stretch of three-straight days with a competition continued on Thursday and Friday as Concordia Dance team ventured to rival GPAC schools and placed second in the triangular at Doane and fifth out of six teams at the Midland Invite.
While hosting for the second time this competition season, Concordia Dance claimed second place in a triangular that featured Hastings and Peru State College. The Bulldogs earned a score of 63.55.
The Bulldogs got the competition season going on Wednesday (Jan. 19) by hosting Morningside in a dual that was contested inside Friedrich Arena. The Mustangs emerged with the upper hand via a score of 74.85 compared to a score of 63.85 for Concordia.

In the most significant competition of the 2021 season, Concordia Dance produced an aggregate score of 74.76 and placed fourth in the GPAC and fifth in the region at the championship event.
The fifth annual GPAC Dance Championship is set to unfold Friday and Saturday (Feb. 26-27) on the Doane campus in Crete, Neb. The Bulldogs hope to move up the GPAC ladder.
In one last outing before the GPAC Championships, the Concordia University Dance team entertained the home crowd inside Friedrich Arena on Saturday (Feb. 20) by earning a win over Doane.
Fresh off a runner-up claim at its own Concordia Cheer & Dance Invite, the Concordia Dance team returned to action and defeated Hastings on Wednesday (Feb. 10).
In yet another sign of the program's improvement, the Bulldogs placed second while hosting the third annual Concordia Cheer & Dance Invite. They were joined by seven other teams.
