Prepped at Lutheran High School of Kansas City for coaches Dan Bickel, Christian Nord and “Bud” Yazel … competed in track for four years and cross country for one … garnered all-state honors in multiple events on the track while breaking school records in the 800 and 1,600 meter races … placed 12th at the state cross country championships and earned all-district, all-metro and academic all-state accolades … helped the Lady Knights to second place at districts and fifth place at the state championships in cross country … led the track team to a second-place district finish, third-place sectional finish and 16th-place state claim … played volleyball for three years, earning two varsity letters, academic all-state, first team all-district and second team all-region honors … played basketball for four years and collected two varsity letters … National Merit finalist … class valedictorian … 4.0 GPA.
