Concordia tops GPAC in Scholar-Athletes

SEWARD, Neb. - As the NAIA's all-time leader in Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, Concordia athletics is used to leading the GPAC in such prestigious academic honors. On Tuesday the GPAC released the complete tallies of 2012-13 Scholar-Athletes for each conference school. Concordia placed first with 71 honorees, seven more than Hastings, which had the second most.

Bulldog athletics totaled 33 Scholar-Athletes in the fall, five in the winter and 33 more in the spring. 

Last season Concordia ranked second in the conference with a total of 75 Scholar-Athletes.
