Concordia nets 17 NAIA Scholar-Teams
SEWARD, Neb. - Seventeen Concordia varsity squads were named 2012-13 NAIA Scholar-Teams, as announced by the NAIA on Friday. Bulldog athletics came in just behind the national leaders as Olivet Nazarene (19), Hastings (18), St. Ambrose (18) and Taylor (18) topped the NAIA.
Concordia led the GPAC in 2012-13 with 71 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes and leads the NAIA in all-time honorees with 919.
For a team to be considered for the NAIA Scholar-Team award, it must have a minimum 3.0 grade-point average (on a 4.0 scale) as defined by the institution. The team grade-point average includes all eligible varsity student-athletes.
