Frank Greene - Head Coach

Head Coach Frank Greene enters his eighth season as the Bulldogs skipper. In 2005, Greene became the winningest softball coach in Concordia history. He comes into the season after compiling a 201-140-1 record for a .587 winning percentage.

Last season Greene led the Bulldogs to the 2007 GPAC Post-season Championship and their 5th consecutive Regional Tournament. In 2005 his Bulldogs won the GPAC regular season championship and a No. 1 ranking in the final NAIA Region IV poll. For his efforts he was named the 2005 Region IV Coach of the Year and the GPAC Co-Coach of the Year.

Greene is also an instructor in the business department, teaching business communication, human resource management,  and organizational behavior. As a freelance sportscaster, Greene has broadcast over 30 state football, basketball and volleyball championship games. The Wayne State College graduate earned his master's in radio-television-rhetoric at Colorado State University. Greene lends his talent to the Concordia Sports Network broadcasts of many Bulldog athletic events.

Greene has three adult children and two grand-children. His wife, Cindy, works in Placement and Counseling at Concordia.

Katie Linke - Assistant and Junior Varsity Coach

Katie is a Psychology graduate and former Big XII softball player from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln. After a standout career at Lincoln Northeast, Katie went on to play catcher and designated hitter for the NCAA Division I Nationally Ranked Cornhuskers. Coach Linke has been instrumental in elevating the Bulldog hitting stats. She coaches first base for the varsity and spends much of her time working with the outfielders, catchers and hitters.

When not assisting the Bulldogs, she spends time with her family and friends in Lincoln and her fiancé Chip.

Dave Prokesh - Assistant Coach

Assistant Coach Dave Prokesh returns for his third consecutive and fifth season overall as an assistant with the Bulldogs. Prokesh had previously served as an assistant for Concordia in 2003 and 2004.

Prokesh also serves as the head softball coach for Lakeview High School in Columbus, Neb. He has guided the Viqueens to nine state tournament appearances including a runner-up finish in 2002 and the state title in 2006. Dave was elevated to pitching coach this season for the Bulldogs.

Coach Prokesh resides in Columbus with his wife June. In his spare time he enjoys mountain biking, weightlifting and when possible, surfing.

Natalie Madsen - Assistant Pitching Coach

Natalie (Danekus) Madsen was an outstanding pitcher for Milford High School before receiving a scholarship to play for Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa. It was unfortunate for Northwestern that a knee surgery ended her career early, but the Red Raiders loss is the Bulldogs gain. Natalie's pitching skills and knowledge of the game should greatly benefit the Bulldog pitching staff as she assists coach Dave Prokesh.

Natalie has little spare time as she is finishing her degree at the University of Nebraska Lincoln. Natalie recently married Concordia Certified Athletic Trainer Aaron Madsen.
