Dakota Wesleyan, ranked No. 11 in the latest NAIA Top 25 Poll, pulled away for a 73-63 men’s basketball victory over No. 24 Concordia on Saturday in Seward. The visiting Tigers improved to 21-5 overall on the season with the win. DWU also improved to 13-2 in conference play and extended its lead in the GPAC standings. Concordia dropped its third straight game to fall to 17-9 overall and 11-4 in GPAC play.

All five starters scored in double figures as the Hastings College men earned an 89-75 win over No. 24 Concordia University on Wednesday evening in Seward. The Broncos improved to 19-5 overall and 10-3 in the GPAC with the win. Concordia dropped its second straight game to fall to 17-8 overall and 11-3 in GPAC play.

Concordia University Wisconsin defeated the Concordia men by the score of 91-73 in the championship game of the Concordia Invitational Tournament on Saturday evening. The host Falcons improved to 11-8 on the season and won the CIT title for the second time. The Bulldogs dropped to 17-7 on the year with the loss. Concordia also had its nine-game winning streak snapped.
