ATH: Concordia tops nation in NAIA scholar-athletes
Concordia University, Nebraska had the highest number of National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics scholar-athletes in the nation for the 2008-09 academic year. Seventy-four Bulldogs earned the NAIA scholar-athlete status, 16 more than second place University of St. Francis, Fort Wayne, Ind.
ATH: Saalfeld and Stichka named Athletes of the Year
Concordia University, Nebraska announced Wednesday night that seniors Michael Saalfeld and Whitney Stichka have been named as Concordia's Athletes of the Year for 2008-09.
CC/TR: Bulldogs add three to 2009 class
Dr. Kregg Einspahr, head coach for Concordia University, Nebraska's track and cross country programs, has announced that Jena Schwalenberg from Columbus High School, Samantha Lathrop from Arlington High School, and Sarah Kortze of Rockford Lutheran High School of Rockford, Ill., have committed to compete for the Bulldogs next year.
